About

I’m a student at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA pursuing a BS of information systems with minors in human factors & ergonomics and business, as well as an MS of library & information science…all in five years. After working as an information architect at Digitas Health for my first co-op, I discovered I really could get paid to do what I’m most passionate about — designing usable interactions to make people’s lives even just a click or two simpler in this complicated digital age. I did some free-lance web design/information architecture for a while, got down and dirty doing IT helpdesk support at the iSchool, and now I am finally back on co-op working for Messagefirst, a design research firm in Old City.

I’m a cranberry juice addict, a wannabe-hippie, and a pragmatic idealist. I’m fascinated by urban greenspace, clouds, trains, viral marketing, and dilapidated buildings. Someday I want to fly little planes for fun…or hang glide because that would be cheaper and require less gasoline. I love knee socks in the winter, flip-flops in the summer, and I ride a baby-blue Schwinn named Nelly :)
